STAR Student Information Available

Attention Seniors (STAR Student):

The SAT will be given Oct. 3^rdand Nov. 2^nd. The November date is the last testing that can be utilized to determine STAR student. 

For the Oct. 3^rddate the registration date has passed, but the late registration date is September 24^th.

For the Nov. 2^nddate the registration date is October 3^rd. 

The qualifications for STAR student are as follows:

The GCA senior with the highest SAT score for one sitting of the SAT test. (You cannot super score.)

The student must surpass the national average of percentile scores for ERW and Math for the 2018- 2019 testing dates. These cut-off scores will be announced at the end of September.

Any senior who wishes to be considered for STAR student must have taken the SAT test. The state organization (PAGE) who sponsors STAR student utilizes the SAT scores only. 

All SAT testing results for GCA seniors will be considered. Just be reminded that if you want to

take the SAT again, the November 2^nddate is the last testing date to be considered for STAR selection.
