5th Grade Chemical Change Experiment
Mrs. Vickers’ 5th grade students experimented with vinegar, baking soda, and balloons to observe chemical change.
With the water bottle filled with vinegar and a balloon filled with baking soda, the students were able to witness a chemical change.
When the balloon was slowly put on the bottle and the baking soda was released a chemical change occurred causing the balloon to inflate.

Learning about Matter
This week our middle school students studied matter. During their labs time, they participated in a gummy bear lab and made slime.
