Art Classes Create Joy!

Mrs. Ragan's art classes are hoping to bring joy to some of our local nursing home patients.  They are painting ceiling tiles for their rooms.

Jones Entertains for Art For Animals

Freshman, Daniel Jones had a wonderful opportunity to show of his amazing talents this past weekend.  He was asked to be the entertainment for the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society's fundraiser know as Art for Animals.  It was a very successful event and Daniel did an outstanding job.

MS Goes Caroling

GCA's 7th & 8th grade students enjoyed a night of caroling in our community last night. 

They visited Willow Ridge, Bainbridge Health Care and Riverside Place. The residents loved hearing their beautiful voices and seeing their smiling faces!




Interact Bell Ringers

GCA's Interact students enjoyed helping and giving back to our community yesterday! Many thanks to the Salvation Army for this wonderful opportunity and for all they do for Bainbridge and Decatur County! Merry Christmas!

Interact Students help with Breakfast With Santa

GCA's Interact Club had an fun opportunity this past Saturday.  They got to help with the annual Breakfast With Santa at the Gilbert H. Gragg Library in Bainbridge.

The students set up the tables, prepared the snacks, and even handled registration.

Great job Cougars!

4th grade helps with Hurricane Irma cleanup!

Cross Country Team cleans Nature Trail

The GCA cross country team helped the City of Bainbridge clean up the Nature Trail after Tropical Storm Irma came through this past weekend.

The team uses the trail for practice and after the storm team member John York came up with the idea to give back and clean up the trail.

They did a great job!

Interact Students Help Rotary & KAH

The Bainbridge Rotary Club supports the Kids Against Hunger organization out of Cairo, GA.  On Tuesday, Rotary hosted a meal packing day for our club and invited the GCA and BHS Interact clubs to participate.  Grace was excited to take 8 students, and within two hours they bagged up enough packets to feel over 7,500 meals.  It was a great service day for GCA

Buckhaulter Speaks At Kiwanis


Mikayla Buckhaulter, GCA Junior, had the opportunity to speak about the Dylan Reid Faircloth scholarship that she received to attend the Duke T.I.P. summer program a couple of years ago.  Mrs. June Faircloth asked she and Bennett Enfinger to be a part of the Kiwanis Program with her.  She spoke about her son and the scholarship created in his memory and the upcoming Epic 5K Challenge. Congratulations Mikayla and Bennett!!

Player/Parent Clean Up Day!

Many, many thanks to the girls volleyball and basketball teams, a few of the boys basketball team and all the parents that showed up to work yesterday at the West Bainbridge Middle School gym!  It was amazing how many people (50-60) came and how much was accomplished in just two hours.  Cougar Power!!!
