GCA Wins STATE Literary Meet

Narcissa Bailey, Kaitlyn Holcombe, Hannah Holden 
 Anders Austinson, Ben Holden, Zyreese Guy, Josiah Austinson, and Dakota Vickers
 The GISA State Literary meet was held Wednesday, March 19th at Valdosta State University and our Dakota Vickers placed 1st in Piano, and our Boys' Quartet made up of Anders Austinson, Ben Holden, Zyreese Guy and Josiah Austinson also brought home a 1st Place.  We are so Proud of these talented students!

The GISA Regional Literary Meet was held in Tifton on Friday, March 14th.  Our wonderful students were able to bring home first place awards in Boys' Piano,  Girls' Trio, and Boys' Quartet.  Our Girl's solo placed second and we placed 2nd All Around and a chance to move on to State

GCA Students Shine at 4-H Competition in Perry

Daniel Jones (5th Grade) and Rachel Hayes (3rd Grade)

GCA's Elementary, Middle and HS students shined recently at the 4-H competition in Perry, GA. Congratulatlions to Daniel Jones who won 1st place in the category of Plants, Soil and Fertilizer and to Rachel Hayes for winning 2nd place in the category of Flowers and Shrubs.  In the Middle School area, Miller Hayes won 3rd in the Junior Vet. Science category while High School students Josiah Austinson and Anders Austinson also did well.  Josiah won 1st in Senior Wildlife while Anders placed 2nd in the Senior Fruits, Vegetables, and Nuts category.  Congratulations!!
