Cloud Kirbo Fundraiser

GCA Alumni Sloane Kirbo’s son, Cloud, has recently been diagnosed with Krabbe Disease. A disease that attacks the central and peripheral nervous system. Cloud and his family are currently in Pittsburgh, PA where Cloud will receive treatments and a stem cell transplant.

In order to help the Kirbo family, the GCA 12th Grade Bible Class has designed a shirt to help aid in the medical bills for Cloud. These shirts are $25 each and the orders are due by Friday, September 13th. Orders can be placed with the GCA school office.

GCA classes will also participate in school-wide activities to raise money for the family.
During the week of Sept 3rd-6th, GCA students are asked to bring pennies to school. This campaign is called “Penny Stall”. The teacher will have to count all the pennies before class can begin.

During the week of Sept 9th-13th, GCA students will also be able to wear holey jeans and their favorite hats for $5 a day.

Proceeds from all of the fundraisers will go directly to Cloud’s family in hope of relieving the stress of medical bills.

Help us show Carlyle, Sloane, and Cloud what it means to be a Cougar! 💛🐾💙
