Congratulations to
Abbey Smith for being selected as the
2012 GCA STAR Student and to
Mrs. Beth Sloan or being selected as her
STAR Teacher. Abbey is the daughter of Michael and Dena Smith. Abbey is a member of the cheerleading team, compeition cheer squad, cross-country team, and Chaos dance team. She has served on the basketball team, "Grace Goes Green", and yearbook staff. She is a graduate of the Chamber's Youth Leadership program and currently serves on the Steering Committee, she is the senior vice president, member of the National Honor Society and was recently crowned GCA's homecoming queen. Abbey plans to attend either the University or Georgia or Mississippi State.
