Congratulations to six of our outstanding art students for their recent awards at the 13th Annual Student Showcase sponsorsed by the Decatur County Council of the Arts.Melissa Mills won 3rd place in 7th & 8th grade Mixed Media and brought home the Judges Choice for Most Abstract (K-12th). Jeri Sloan took Honorable Mention in 7th & 8th grade Mixed Media; Lydia Thompson won 2nd Place in 7th & 8th grade Painting; Chase Harris took home a 3rd Place in 7th & 8th grade Drawing; Kyle Harris won 3rd Place in High School Drawing; and Daniel Ray won 1st Place in 7th & 8th grade Mixed Media. Way to Go!!!
