Godwin & McRae Honored

Carly Godwin and Sam McRae were recognized and honored with a Vince J. Dooley Award at the Athletes For a Better World luncheon in Atlanta on Saturday, May 5th.    Award recipients are chosen for their distinguished  individual character, outstanding teamwork and citizenship.  Congrats Carly and Sam!

2018 Seniors Select from 35 Colleges and Universities

Oh, the Places You'll Go! The GCA Class of 2018 has an exciting future ahead. Seven of them are graduating as Zell Miller Scholars and all eighteen have qualified for Hope. These graduates have been accepted to over thirty-five colleges and universities throughout the southeast.

Senior Chapel

Senior Chapel Day! Each senior was asked to take a few minutes to share a little bit about themselves including their favorite memory, future plans and life verse. After an uplifting message from Pastor John, they moved to the tables and signed autographs for our elementary students. What a wonderful morning sharing and making memories!!

McRae Receives James Eunice Scholarship

Congratulations to Sam McRae for being the first GCA student selected to receive the James Eunice Scholarship.  The  scholarship is given annually to graduating seniors to continue James' legacy of investing in others.  The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academics, leadership qualities, extracurricular school activities, character, community service and personal integrity.  Congratulations Sam!

April Helms joins

GCA Faculty for

2018-2019 School Year!

We are happy to announce that April Helms will be joining our staff next year as our 3rd grade teacher. She has a BS and a Masters in Early Childhood from Valdosta State University. She comes to us with 20 years of experience in 3rd grade!

We will certainly miss Ms. Loeffler, but she thrilled to be handing the reins to Ms. Helms.
