in August. GCA moved from GISA to GICAA. We have officially withdrawn from our
affiliation with GISA (Georgia Independent School Association) and joined GICAA
(Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association). The roofs of the
education building, church office/preschool building, and OS have been
re-shingled. The trim on these buildings will all be painted white in the near
future. The Gym floor has just been refinished and looks great! The new van
purchased at the end of the school year has been lettered with our Grace
Christian Academy logos.
Our theme verse for 2017/2018 is Proverbs 16:3, “Commit to
the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”

GCA Joins GICAA
GCA Parent:
As we prepare for the 2017-2018 school year we
wanted to let you know that Grace Christian Academy has made the decision to
move from our affiliation with GISA (Georgia Independent School Association) to
join GICAA (Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association). There are several
reasons that GCA has decided to make this change.
First, we believe that aligning our school with an
association that is Christian in its focus provides a better fit for our school
and is more in line with our mission and statement of faith.
Second, a couple of other Christian schools in our
division had already made the decision to leave GISA. This leaves us with fewer
schools similar to us in size.
Finally, joining GICAA will provide us with more
options of competition. In addition to increased athletic options, GICAA also
offers competitions in vocal and instrumental music, drama, literary, quizzing,
art, and robotics.
As with our new ACSI accreditation (Association of
Christian School International), we are focused on our mission, Growing
our spirit, mind, and body in harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
