The 4th & 5th graders hosted their annual Donuts For Dad breakfast on Friday, Nov. 18th.
2016 Science Showcase
Zachery and Karissa Jones from the FSU Biomedical College visited Grace on Friday for our 2nd Science Showcase for our 1st & 2nd grades.
Some of the activities shown here are Smoke Ring Launchers, Film Canister Rockets, and Elephant Toothpaste.
The students had a wonderful time learning how much fun science can be!

GCA Swimmers Qualify for State
Saturday,November 12th, GCA swimmers attended the Deerfield Invitational in Albany at Darton State College.
In JV Christina Longs swam the 50 free placing 7th, 100 free placing 8th and the 50 backstroke placing 9th.
Timothy Longs swam the 50 free placing 2nd, 100 free placing 2nd and the 50 butterfly placing 2nd
In Varsity Thad Whitaker swam the 200 free placing 3rd, 50 free placing 6th and the 500 free placing 2nd.
Thad's performance in the 200 free and 500 free and Timothy's performance in the 50 free, 100 free and 50 butterfly were fast enough to make cuts for the state meet at Ga Tech in January of 2017. Congratulations GCA Swimmers!!

Staff Sergeant Hugh Kent Visits GCA
GCA was so excited to have Staff Sergeant Hugh Kent visit our school this morning! He is the step dad of one of our K5 students and he just recently returned from deployment. We would like to thank all of our Veterans and wish them a Happy Veterans Day from GCA!!
BMX Bike Show Comes to GCA
As a reward for a successful magazine/cookie dough fundraiser, the G-Team hosted a BMX Bike Show for the students! It was an awesome event and the students really enjoyed seeing all the cool jumps and stunts!
Fun Day at the Flint River Aquarium
The 2nd Grade class enjoyed a wonderful field trip to the Flint River Aquarium last Friday.

BTS Reaches $220,000
We are thrilled to report that our Building To Serve Campaign is going GREAT! We have already raised over $220,000. Please consider helping us restore the gym and continue to Grow Grace! XC Teams Finish 4th at State
Congratulations to our girls and boys cross country teams for finishing 4th at State. The competition was Saturday, Oct. 29th in Augusta.
