Coach McRae - GISA Coach of the Year
A big congratulations to Dr. Mallory McRae (Coach McRae) for being named the GISA Coach of the Year. Coach McRae is the head coach of our Cougar Basketball team.

Cougar Basketball Advances to 2nd Round of State
GCA Girls took the WIN over Oak Mountain 59-43 on Tuesday evening and advanced to the 2nd round of State. They traveled back to Jefferson, GA today to play Monsignor Donovan for a chance at the Final 4.
GCA Boys also advanced by taking the WIN over Brandon Hall on Wednesday. The score was 55-32 and they will get to host the 2nd Round tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) at 4:30 p.m. at Bainbridge State College. They will play Memorial Day School from Savannah.

The Very First Leader...Play about Washington
Mrs. Mogan's first grade students preformed a short play yesterday called "The Very First Leader."
Morgan Vickers was George Washington and was assisted by the town's people - Ari Arnold, Malynn Faircloth, isabelle Gause, Preston Lynn and Leah Seabrooks.

Good Old Abe!
Mrs. Mogan's first grade students preformed a short play today called "Good Old Abe, Honest Abe." Characters/Narrators included Will Wainwright (Abe), Carson Brooks, Bennett Earnest, Norah Inlow, and Banks Tuten.

Never Tell A Lie
The 5th grade presented a wonderful play during Chapel this week written by one of their own, Anisa Patel.
The play was called "Never Tell A Lie" and they did a wonderful job.

GISA Region 3AA Tournament in Bainbridge Next Week
The GISA Region 3AA Region Tournament is being hosted by Grace Christian Academy this next week. The tournament is being held at the Bainbridge State College Wellness Center.
