Super Hero Day for K-$
It was Super Hero day for Scott Ross and he decided he wanted to share his pig with his classmates. What a fun day for our K-4 students!

K4 Celebrates 100th Day of School
GCA K-4 students enjoyed celebrating the 100th day of school. They had a PJ party, made "100" smart hats, and even enjoyed a game of stacking 100 cups. Many thanks to Mrs. Glover and Mrs. Richards for making learning fun!!
Cougars Sweep Region Games
The girls and boys JV basketball teams along with the Varsity girls and boy teams achieved a clean sweep against SGA on Tuesday evening. It was exciting to watch all four teams win their region games!

2nd Graders Learn about Space
Mrs. Jones 2nd grade class enjoyed their trip to the Kirbo Center to hear Dr. Bernard Harris speak and tell about his adventures in space. Dr. Harris was the first African American to walk in space. They also had the opportunity to enjoy and learn from a planetarium and telescope that was on site.

GCA Cheerleaders are Grand Champions!
The Grace Christian Academy Varsity Cheer squad competed on Saturday, Jan. 9th in the Diamond Cheer & Dance Competition at the Dothan Civic Center. The girls placed 1st and were named Grand Champions. They are coached by Sloane Kirbo.

Whitaker Swims to State
Congratulations to Thad Whitaker for making the State cut in the 200 Freestyle at the Tift County Invitational on Dec. 12th. Thad will swim in the Lee County Invitational Jan. 9th and the State meet is January 30th at Georgia Tech.
