Warr Wins State in Boys Solo
So proud of our GCA Literary Team. They did an awesome job at the GISA State Literary meet on March 25th at Valdosta State University. Brent Warr won 1st in the Boy's Solo competition, Dakota Vickers won 2nd in Piano and the Boy's Quartet won 2nd! Way to go Cougars!

4-H Project Achievement Winners
GCA had four students participate in Saturday's 4-H Project Achievement contest in Perry, GA and did an awesome job!

Youth Leadership Graduates
Sarah Castoro and Juliann Amaya graduated last night from this years 2015 Raymond Miles Youth Leadership Program.

The Juniors and Seniors were visited by the Mad Hatter at lunch, who handed out invitations to join him in Wonderland for Grace's 2015 Un-Prom!

GISA AA Region Literary Competion
Last Friday on March 14, the Grace literary team attended the GISA AA region competition. The Grace team did very well and came away with two first place trophies. Brent Warr placed first in the Boy's solo competition and Dakota Vickers placed first in the piano competition. Our other teams also did very well with the Trio (Hannah Holden, Kaitlyn Holcombe, and Lindsey Duke) placing second, Quartet (Brent Warr, Anders Austinson, Josiah Austinson, and Logan Davis) placing second, Girl's Solo (Kaitlyn Holcombe) placing second, Spelling (Jack McRae) placing second, Argumentative Essay (Mikayla Buckhalter) placing second, Personal Essay (Ansley Stuart) placing second, Duo Interpretation (Brad Spooner and Ruth Marie Carraway) placing third, and Humorous Oral Interpretation (Gabby Hardee) placing third. The Trio, Quartet, Boy's Solo, Girl's Solo, Piano, Spelling, Personal Essay and Argumentative Essay will all be advancing to the GISA AA state competition next Wednesday, March 25, at Valdosta State University.
