K-4 Dental Hygiene Week
Mrs. Ericka Adams with Bainbridge Family Dentistry made a special visit this week to our K-4 classrooms. She not only explained why it was important to take care of our teeth but she showed them the best way to take care of them.

Physical Science Hands-On Demo Day
Mrs. Dorinda's Physical Science class enjoyed a Hands-On Demo Day on Thursday that helped them learn all about Fluids! The stations and topics included: The paper tent, boat building 101, moving balloons, cartesian diver, and the magic moving ball.

GCA Cougars Finish 2nd in Region
The Cougar basketball team defeated Crisp Academy 60-56 in the GISA Region 3-AA semifinals on Feb. 19th and advanced to the Region finals on Feb. 20th to play against Georgia Christian Academy. In the finals they lost 56-26 to the Generals and finished 2nd Place in the Region but secured a seat for the State finals.

Young Market Hog Show Winners
Congratulations to our own Carson Lynn and to Blake Fagan for shining bright at the Decatur County Young Farmer Market Hog Show. Carson won Pre-Club Showmanship and Grand Champion Market Hog and Blake won Junior Showmanship and Reserve Champion Market Hog. Congrats Boys!!

2nd & 12th - 2015 Cougar Cup Winners
The 2015 Cougar Cup awards went to
Mrs. Harrell's 2nd grade and Mrs. Austinson's 12th grade.
The Cougar Cup is awarded each year following the annual Homecoming parade. Each class is judged on their homecoming float, chant and banner.
