Coat Drive....HUGE Success!!
Many, many thanks to all of our GCA Students and Parent for making the Annual Farm Credit Coat and Blanket Drive a HUGE Success!! As of the deadline, Oct. 31st, GCA had collected 430 items for this year! Totally Awesome!!
GCA’s Student Government Association and Mrs. Harrell’s 4th grade class would like to take a moment and thank all of the teachers, students, family, and friends of GCA who contributed to the Annual Farm Credit Coat & Blanket Drive. When asked to meet a community need, GCA stepped up willingly. Last week’s challenge was to collect 146 additional items by October 31st in order to meet the original goal of collecting 300 items. GCA didn’t just meet the challenge, we almost doubled that number and collected 276 additional items! This brought the final total of items collected byGrace Christian
Academy to 430!!!! Wow!
And the timing couldn’t be better since the cold weather has begun. Needs are already being met as some coats and
blankets have already been distributed.
But of course, God’s timing is always perfect!

Once
again, thanks to all who contributed!
Your willingness to share what you have with others has helped make this
community effort a tremendous success.
Because of you, many families will be able to have a warmer winter.

has none, and the one who has food must do the same.’”
1st Grade Experience Apline Farms
The 1st Grade

The students were able to enjoy a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch where they
got to pick their own pumpkin and sunflower. They visited the animals in the
petting barn and learned about farm life in their interactive barn. After a
picnic lunch, they had a fun trip through the corn maze!!
