Kennedy "Overnight Adventure"......
Mrs. Jone's 5th grade students enjoyed a very memorable experience last week....an "Overnight Adventure" at the Kennedy Space Center. Some of the activities the students got to enjoy included: Making their own rocket to launch; scavenger hunt in astronaut and rocket museum; they got to meet with a real astronaut -Wendy Lawrence and ask her questions; they explored the rocket garden; watched an I-Max film, camped out under a real rocket; toured the grounds; and got to feel the "real" experience by sitting in a rocket simulator.
