Two of GCA's boys - Anthony Henderson and Leonard Sheppard were selected to play in the East/West All Star game on Saturday, February 28th. The final score was East - 73 and West -67. The team was coached by David Murray from Emmanual Christian and Robb Moss with Covenant Christian. Anthony scored 14 points and Leonard scored 12. For the first time in GCA's history, one of our players was named MVP - Congratulations Anthony!
Several of our Grace lady cougars were also selected and played in the All Star game on February 28th. Brock Bailey was on the first team and Logan Worsham and Jasmine Kelly were selected to play on the second team. Their final score was West-80 and East -64. Congratulation girls for being selected for this honor!

Pre-Registration 2009-2010
Pre-registration for the 2009-2010 school year started Tuesday for returning students and their siblings. Your student should have received their registration packet at school the first of the week.
Pre-registration will end on Friday, March 6th and after that date, registration will be opened to the waiting list. Please note that some of our pre-school and elementary classes fill up fast!! We hope and pray that you will register before the March 6th deadline to insure your spot!

Grace Girls head to Final Four!
The Lady Cougars are on their way to the Panhandle Christian Conference Final Four Tournament this weekend. The tournament is being hosted by West Florida Baptist in Milton, FL.

GROWING GRACE....FULLY
Please make plans to join us for our Growing Grace Event sponsored by the GCA Foundation on Thursday, February 19, 2009. A wonderful evening has been planned including dinner by Chef Lisa McLendon, entertainment highlighting our middle school Strings program, and an informative program sharing hopes, dreams and the vision of Grace Christian Academy.

Winter Formal - March 12th
The Freshman class of Grace Christian Academy cordially invites all middle and high school students to Winter Formal 2009 on Thursday, March 12th at the Old Library. All festivities will begin at 8:00 p.m. and the theme this year is Mardi Gras! Tickets are $12 and are available in the school office until Friday, February 27th.

Cougars Down Maranatha
Congratulations to both Cougar varsity teams as they brought home two big wins last night against Maranatha. The lady cougars won 43-22 and the boys varsity came home with a victory of 57 - 46. Way to Go Cougars!!

Henderson Rings 1,000
Congratulations to GCA Senior, Anthony Henderson for making his 1,000th point during Tuesday nights game against Gateway. After the game, Coach Justin Gravlee presented him with the game ball.
Anthony is the son of Ron and Vedia Henderson.

MS COUGARS WIN BIG!
Congrats Middle School Cougars!! The middle school Cougar's basketball team won their last three games of the season this past weekend. On Friday, January 30th they won against Holy Comforter 15-11 and continued their winning streak on Saturday in Panama City. They went up against Covenant and won 18-16 in their first game and fought hard againt Holy Nativity to take a win of 22 - 20 in the final seconds of the game! Congratulations Coach Harrell and to the team for a great season!
