While studying "Force and Motion," Mrs. Smith's 6th grade class was asked to besign and build catapults as their science project. They were required to research catapults and select one to study, they had to write a paper on their catapult, draw a blue print, construct their catapult, keep a science journal, and demonstrate their catapult while answering questions from a panel of judges. Lindsey Duke won 1st place with her Ballistae, Rhaegan Henderson won 2nd with her Mangonel, and Jack McRae won 3rd with his Onager. Honorable Mention went to Christina Bowers.
