Soccer Team Received Championship Rings


Mayor Edward Reynolds was on hand to award the soccer team their State Championship Rings on December 19th.

MS Goes Caroling

GCA's 7th & 8th grade students enjoyed a night of caroling in our community last night. 

They visited Willow Ridge, Bainbridge Health Care and Riverside Place. The residents loved hearing their beautiful voices and seeing their smiling faces!




Interact Bell Ringers

GCA's Interact students enjoyed helping and giving back to our community yesterday! Many thanks to the Salvation Army for this wonderful opportunity and for all they do for Bainbridge and Decatur County! Merry Christmas!


 


GCA Cougars Take 2nd

Congratulations to our girls and boys varsity for placing 2nd in the Christmas Tournament this past weekend at Northside Methodist in Dothan! We are proud of you!

GCA Swimmers Make State


This past Saturday, Thad Whittaker and Timothy Longs swam in the Calvary Christian Invitational in Columbus, GA. They did very well.

Timothy placed 3rd in the 100 IM, 3rd in the 50 Breast Stroke and 2nd in the 50 Butterfly. Thad placed 20th in the 50 free, 6th in the 100 Breast Stroke and 3rd in the 500 Free.

They both have done well enough to advance.

GCA Christmas Concert

The Middle School and High School students performed at 
GCA's Annual Christmas program.  The program was hosted at Bainbridge FUMC. 

 The GCA Strings, Middle School and High School chorus and our GCA pianist  all did an outstanding job!








Cheerleaders host Wrapping Party for Special Family



The GCA Cheerleaders hosted a wrapping party this past week for their Adopt a Family project.

York Selected as DAR Good Citizen




Congratulations to John York for being selected as GCA's DAR Good Citizen.  John will be  honored later in the year  by the local chapter of the Daughter's of the American Revolution.

The DAR Good Citizen award recognizes and rewards individuals who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools and communities.


Congrats John. We are proud of you!

Chorus Sings at FUMC

The GCA Chorus and Strings students performed at the FUMC Keenagers 
Christmas Luncheon on Dec. 6th.  They did a great job!
