Sophomore Jack McRae hits 1000!!

Sophomore Jack McRae accomplished a personal goal this past Monday (Dec. 10th) during the home basketball game against the Emmanuel Warriors.  He scored his one-thousandth point during the first quarter of the game.  Jack is only the 14th player in GCA's history to achieve this milestone!

Proud parents, Mardi and Mallory McRae pose with Jack!

Team members Garvis Kelly, Sam McRae and
Anders Austinson sign the game ball.

Team celebrates with Jack!!

Pancake Breakfast Supports Mission Projects

GCA's Student Government Association hosted a Taco lunch last Tuesday and a Pancake Breakfast this past Friday to raise money for a needy family in our community.  These two events make it possible for GCA to share the spirit of Christmas with others!!

Kelsey Harrell and Lindsey Duke cook pancakes as
Mrs. Delrose Betts looks on.

Parents and students enjoyed adding
extra goodies to their pancakes.
Pictured above are Jeff Moran and Haylie Kaye Moye

Mrs. Harrell along with her children and students enjoyed the morning!

The Palmer and Gay families enjoyed a morning visit!

December Calendar - Schedule for MS & HS Finals

Another Great GCA Event!!

Many thanks to our awesome 2013 Winter Festival committee for making this year's Winter Festival exciting, new, and successful!  Rain visited again this year; however, it did not keep people from coming and enjoying all the new kids activites and games, the excellent student art show, the wonderful (huge) silent auction, the exciting live auction, the cool GCA general store, the creative
t-shirt, and the great food.  God continues to bless us each year and this year was no different as we were able to net out around $41,000 for GCA.

This of course would not have been possible without all our sponors and the support of many of our local businesses as well as all the dedicated volunteers including classroom moms, supportive teachers, creative and helpful students and of course you - the parents and students that came out and shared your time, resources and money! WOW...What an excited time!!
