When The Lights Went Out at GCA

On Tuesday after a nice rainstorm, GCA lost power for a short period of time. We appreciate Georgia Power and their quick response time to restore the power. Meanwhile......

Upstairs hallway lit by exit lights and lights that shine during power outage only.
All the middle school students were tucked quietly into their classrooms working hard.

Mrs. Tobin and one of our awesome volunteers, Emily Griffin, review important
school paperwork by sunlight from the window.

Mrs. DeMartini’s student worked diligently on their Fourth Grade workload in the dark.

Our wonderful Executive Director Mrs. Warr was a busy bee even without electricity.

Mrs. Hall, GCA’s lunch coordinator, continued with her workload even without power.

Downstairs was as quite as a mouse during the outage.

Mrs. Walls 1st grade class continued to work despite the power outage.

Mrs. Vickers’ Fifth Grade Class worked thru some
math problems while waiting patiently for the lights to return.

GCA Second Grade class enjoyed an indoor recess since the weather was yucky.

Our high school students were rewarded an extended lunch due to lack of power.
