GCA's fourth grade students participated in a fossil identification activity last week. They were able to identify fossils from layers of sediment covering a phosphate mine in eastern North Carolina. The students enjoyed finding fossils from possibly nineteen to twenty million years ago. The fossils were donated by Potash Corp.
