Back to School News

Dear GCA Families,

It’s hard to believe, but a new school year is just around the corner. Lots of exciting things have been happening at GCA this summer! We have some additional new staff members to introduce to you as well as some summer updates.

Welcome to our new faculty members:
1st Grade-Jessica Miller
4th Grade-Jorden Gamble
MS Science-Margie Nour
HS English/Spanish 1 and 2-Dot Strong
(3rd Grade-Suzy Loeffler Returning)

Summer Updates:
AdvancEd met on June 21 and GCA was approved for accreditation. Our official certificate of accreditation should arrive sometime in August. GCA moved from GISA to GICAA. We have officially withdrawn from our affiliation with GISA (Georgia Independent School Association) and joined GICAA (Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association). The roofs of the education building, church office/preschool building, and OS have been re-shingled. The trim on these buildings will all be painted white in the near future. The Gym floor has just been refinished and looks great! The new van purchased at the end of the school year has been lettered with our Grace Christian Academy logos.

Our theme verse for 2017/2018 is Proverbs 16:3, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
