Big News From Coach Murr - On Wednesday, March 23rd, GCA was accepted as the newest member of the Georgia Independent School Association.
This change will allow GCA to compete with more established schools. Starting 2011-2012, GCA will be able to offer Jr. Pro teams for 4th - 6th graders in boys basketball, girls basketball, baseball, soccer, and cheerleading based on the interest from parents of these students.
GCA will continue to offer all of the high school sports that we have this year with the opportunity to move cross-country and some track and field events into conference competition. Because of the way the seasons run we will compete in the GISA for volleyball in the fall and continue to compete in the PCC for softball in the spring while maintaining our mostly non-conference schedule.
