The GCA Class of 2012 recently celebrated their rising status with an official Ring Ceremony. A representative of Spud Bowen & Associates of Tifton gave a brief history of the Class Ring and presented each Junior with their new ring.The Class Ring, as we know it today, originated in the year of 1835 and was purchased by Graduates of the United States Military Academy at West Point. This custom spread rapidly as a means of perpetuating the ideals and traditions of the School attended.
