GCA Track Team Shines @ Region

Congratulations to our Region Champ!  

Melissa Mills placed first in the 100 meter dash and  the 200 meter dash at the Region meet at Westwood School in Camilla on Thursday.  In the 100 she ran a time of 13.08 and in the 200 she ran a time of 27.82.

We are so proud!!

Dr. Roger Mills Visits PreK

Dr. Roger Mills and his wife Joyce visited Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Cox's classrooms this week.  Dr. Mills is a local Orthodontist and took time out of his busy schedule to come visit, to read them a book, and explain why it is important to have straight, healthy teeth.

GCA's NHS Inducts 15 New Members

Grace Christian Academy's National Honor Society inducted 15 new members at an Induction Ceremony on April 11, 1013.  NHS officers performed the Induction Ritual recognizing the candidates for academic, character, and conduct excellence. Officers for the group include Kendi Castoro, Zyreese Guy, Ben Holden, Melissa Mills, and Bryce McQuaid. Congratulations to the following new members of GCA's NHS:  Front - Hannah Hatcher, Merrianna Parker, Ansley Posey, Josh Carnes, Niklas Isler, Aaron Carraway, Shelby Woodrum, Kaitlin Adams, and Hannah Wynn.  Middle - Chelsey Murray, Lexie Goodson, Brent Warr, Kendi Castoro, Zyreese Guy, Ashton Anderson, and Melissa Mills.  Back - Taylor Cumbie, Austin McQuaid, Bryce McQuaid, Bailey Wood, and Dustin Vickers.

K4 Students learn about Library for the Blind

Mrs. Kathy Hutchins, who works for the Library for the Blind, visited our K4 classes this week and taught them all about the unique services this Library provides for our blind community right here in Bainbridge. Mrs. Kathy is the Aunt of Isabella Rentz.
